When we were kids you,
Made each day a surprise.
My heart beat for you,
Was caught in your eyes.
Behind the fake smile,
There was nothing there.
You sold me fake promises,
And It's taken time.
But now I can see,
You were not for me.
I'll never talk again,
But I will love again.
You may have been fake,
But my love was real,
The coda to our love,
Was a one sided line.
Ending with a fade,
An unpleasing line.
