Today was a good day, I only wish I could tell you, But you are a million miles away, Even though I'm right here next to you. *** Only soil between us, Nothing can make you closer, Not even the strong power of love, Day by day you feel even further away. *** From your voice, To the caugh you made, I miss your every wise advice, Especally on nights like tonight. *** From a call away, To a one way prayer, I wish you could have stayed, Now I just have to wonder if you are there. *** Today was amazng, You would have heard, Even if it was a wild ride, If you had answered the call. *** But you didn't, Instead I sit and pray, To you out there hidden, Knowing you can't answer.
