I know you will never be mine,
And no words I say will change that,
But at night you play on my mind,
And it hurts that I am betrayed by my heart.
***
So now at night I dream of you,
And wish my dreams would just come true,
For I would dream forever more,
If it meant just being with you.
***
So tonight I’ll kiss you in my dreams,
And tomorrow hope to see you,
For you make my heart skip a beat,
As my dreams are all about you.
