The Tempest Within: Poem by the Pesky Poet

Heartache is a storm,
No weatherman can predict,
The lows can be deep,
And the highs can be cloudy,
Where one day there is sunshine,
The next, there is darkness.

The God of this world,
Can stir up a storm,
with just an image,
A smell of aftershave,
Or the words of a song.

One moment there's calm,
A clear day all around,
The next, you feel the rain,
Drench you to the bone.

This storm tries to break out,
Through the only space known,
The eyes, a water-dropped stone.
