Goodbye Reggie – Poem by the Pesky Poet

The statesman of the covid call,
A cat like no other at all,
His snore could make,
An entire meeting laugh.
***
He'd take his place,
In his Amazon box,
Sat to the right hand,
Of the boss.
***
No notes were taken,
Nor input given,
But he still took part,
In every meeting.
***
Now in his Amazon box,
In the sky,
We all must say,
Our goodbye.
***
Goodbye Reggie,
You will be sorely missed,
Your snores, your purrs,
We all will miss.
