Your little paws left us, As you headed off too soon, Before we could say goodbye, You had been inhumed. *** We watched you grow, Like a precocious child, You pushed the limits, So young and wild. *** Without warning, You set off on your journey, Across the rainbow bridge, Without care or worry. *** And we must stay here, Left behind when you went, With our memories of you, We have wept. *** Over the bridge you went, Out of life and time, To the undying world, May we meet again sometime.

No matter what, it’s too young. My parents lost their little lad this week at 10 months… It’s hit the family hard.

I had a kitty called Cheetah back in the early 90s. He was maybe 8 months old. He died of Feline Leukemia. I was heart broken for such a long time. When the Doc told me this I broke down crying in his office. I really tore me apart. And then Greysi. We had her for 8 years. She died of stomach cancer. I still have her image as my facebook profile picture. I have her buried in the back yard with a grave marker plaque. I go back there to almost every day to tell her i miss her and to say good morning. 🙂
