You were a grain of hope,
In a hard year,
You were a beam of light,
In a dark year,
You were a symbol of strength,
In a weak year,
Now I weep a tear for you,
And what you stood for.
***
Rest peacefully Sir Tom Moore,
You’re time here is come to an end,
But your kindness will live forever,
And the world will be a little darker today.
***
In loving memory of Sir Tom Moore (1920 – 2021)
