Over the years,
I thought I’d found love,
But it hadn’t been true.
Then along came,
Someone completely different,
And that was you.
Never did I consider,
You could be for me,
And save me from becoming bitter.
Now five years on,
I don’t look back,
On time that’s gone.
My heart became tin,
With the hurt of time,
And you opened it for me.
