Undercover – VSS365 – 25/06/2022 – Poem By The Pesky Poet

Undercover,
Where it is warm,
With the sound of birds,
Chirping and dawn,
A tea in hand,
A dog in tow,
And at my back,
A soft pillow.
***
Undercover,
When it is cold,
With the moon up,
And the curtains closed,
Keeping warm,
A dog in bed,
And a happy dream,
In my head.
