The darkest part of the year,
For those in the north of the sphere,
The shortest light to be seen.
But for those down in the south,
There’s a day of light no night about,
Just the longest day to shout about.
And for those equatorial people,
There’s no change in the day cycle,
Days and nights in one big circle.
