My time is almost up,
And there isn’t much left to say,
Thank you for running,
My marathon with me.
Before I close off,
With the final two poems,
Please let me take,
Two moments of your time.
There is a lot you can do,
This fight needs you,
Don’t be a covidiot,
Don’t believe what’s not true.
We need to do this together,
Shoulder to shoulder,
And remember the mantra,
Stay Home, Stay Safe, Save Lives.
