I have been doing this for a year,
Writing each tear,
Letting you know each fear,
Hoping you will see,
What you mean to me.
***
Rhyming each dream,
With a thought about you,
Wishing you’d see,
That I love you,
***
Setting the beat of my poems,
To the beat of my heart,
But still you are blind,
Or you choose not to see,
How much you really mean to me.
***
I don’t think you know,
How I really feel,
So if only you knew,
Every poem,
Every line,
Every word,
Every rhyme,
I wrote it all for you.
