In honour of Her Majesty The Queen the following poem was submitted to Buckingham Palace last year. Pesky Poetry understands from the response that Her Majesty enjoyed the poem and accepted it as a gift for her Platinum Jubilee. #HM70 #PlatinumJubilee.
God save our gracious Queen,
Whose guidance has long been,
To the benefit of the United Kingdom.
God save our humble Queen,
Who in her 70 year reign,
At the countries helm keeping plane.
God save our regal Queen,
Who has never once fleen,
From her duty to Great Britain.
God save our noble Queen,
Who has kept peace within,
Using wisdom from what she has seen.
God Save Our Queen!
We shout in her name,
Long may we wish her remain.
