I’m Off To See The Moon – Poem by the Pesky Poet

Communications, check,
In-flight computer, check,
Engines, check,
large controlled explosion, ready,
Let's head to the moon.
It's been too long,
Old friend,
Since I walked on your surface,
Felt the gravity lighter,
And the ground coarser.
May we meet again soon,
By the light of the sun,
On the face of the moon,
In the dark of space,
On a day just like this.
