Learned About Love – Poem by the Pesky Poet

What have you learned in your life about love?

WordPress Prompt
It's a ride,
Unique to every passenger,
To some it's the waltzers,
To other a rollercoaster,
For some a it's a lazy river,
And for some it's the dodgems.
Each ride,
Writes its own story,
Only truly known,
By those in the parts,
Of the romantically involved.
Importantly,
Never take it for granted,
To love means nothing,
If it doesn't mean everything,
And only you should ever,
Own your own heart.
