The air is changing,
The sun grows weak,
Winds blow colder,
Week by week.
***
The food once sown,
Is harvested fast,
For soon the fields,
Will be just grass.
***
The hedgehog and squirrel,
Will rest their heads,
Keeping warm,
Against winters edge.
***
The robin will don,
It's bright red breast,
And sing from trees,
Of Christmas spirit.
***
For at last the year,
Draws to it's close,
As winter starts,
The cold wind blows.
