Hope is a foundational feeling, It fights against the great ennui, It gives dark times meaning, And can be a symbol for you and me. *** As hate can snuff out light, Hope can shine a new way, In the dark times we have, Hope is not just a cliché. *** We are all capable of hope, It's built in to you and me, Let your hope evoke, The feeling in all you see.
