The Mind Is A Temple – Poem by the Pesky Poet

Inside the mind,
Are corridors and rooms,
Where thoughts life and play,
And memories are reinforced.
***
Inside the mind,
There are ghosts and ghouls,
Of the life one has already lived,
And the people no longer around.
***
Inside the mind,
Are pieces and parts,
Of what makes a person,
The person the really are.
***
Inside the mind,
There are wars and battles,
Between the good we want,
And the evil of intrusive thought.
***
Inside the mind,
Is the key to the person,
That no-one else can see,
And cannot be shared freely.
