To the west, On the coast, Is a little known beach, Where I like to go, Where the sand is white, And the water sometimes blue, And there is nothing anyone needs to do. *** It calls to me, Summons me, In the wind and the sea, Beckoning me back, To stand on the beach, And look out at the deep. *** There is nothing, I want to do more, Than stand quietly, On that white shore, Just me and the sea, Conversing quietly, Conversations no-one need to know.
