Roses are Red, My Love is for You – Poem by the Pesky Poet

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Who would have thought,
I'd love you.
***
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
And who would have thought,
You'd love me too.
***
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
This year we said,
I do.
***
Roses are still red,
Violets are always blue,
Our love will never,
Like a petal fade.
***
Red are the roses,
Blue are the violets,
I give you my heart,
And to this I commit.
***
While the roses are red,
And the violets remain blue,
My voice will be used,
To say how much I love you.
