If you are a regular, you will of course know about the Christmas Countdown by now… Each year since 2022, with the exception of one, I’ve written a countdown of poetry to the big day. The first year this was just the 12 days to Christmas… Now, it’s over a months worth of poetry comprising of three series: Advent Poetry, Christmas countdown and New Year Countdown.
Starting this year on the first Sunday of advent (27/11/2022) the Advent Poetry will be (unsurprisingly) 4 Sundays to Christmas… And providing WordPress doesn’t still have the scheduling time issue these will be 10am UK time releases. Starting the 1st of December the daily Christmas Countdown will be released at 11am, with extra poems potentially released on Christmas Day. And lastly, starting the 25th of December to the 2nd of January there will be a daily New Year Countdown poem…
December is by far my favourite, and busiest, month of poetry. Even though it is only 1/12 of the year it can sometimes more than double the poetry written and often triples the readership of the site. So, I have, as always, one special ask for you… Please share Pesky Poetry with friends, family and even colleagues… Share the Christmas Countdown and Share the fun.
Also, I have one last thing to share… There is a secret to be told on the 26th of this month! Tune in at 10am on the 26th to find out more.
As Always, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy this years Christmas Countdown
