Notes for my exam,
Instead I'm sat here,
Writing a poem.
***
Why is it so hard,
To focus deeply,
On a subject,
I need to know.
***
Rather I have poems,
Circling around my head,
Or fighting the urge,
To go back to bed.
***
Exams are hard,
But revision's harder,
I keep reading notes,
To force me to remember.
