What World Do We Live In?

While we all hunker,
In our houses tonight,
Somewhere out there,
Is a covidiot fair.
A gaggle or herd,
A flock or clowder,
Or maybe a murder,
The grouping doesn’t matter.
Somewhere out there,
Somethings gone wrong,
People have turned,
From the truth we have known.
To believe in lies,
Spread by those up high,
To poison the masses,
Who just try to get by.
While you hunker down,
Think of them now,
People so disenfranchised,
The truth doesn’t matter.
What world do we live in,
Where facts can be lies,
Where truths can be fallacies,
And life’s just a ride.
