Well that’s it,
Christmas Day is done,
The hangover has begun,
***
The dishes put away for another year,
The chimney no longer the centre of the room,
The tree is no longer cluttered underneath,
And although Santa won’t be there soon,
You now have presents to keep,
***
Now that Christmas Day is gone,
Don’t let this be Christmas Done,
Lets take the joy of yesterday on,
And refill the rum for the new year is yet to come.
