Oh to the meal,
To the dinner,
To All you at this table,
Never has a time,
Reminded me so,
Of what family is.
Here’s to the food we are about to eat,
The carrots and broccoli and sprouts,
Here’s to the company,
The friends and the family.
Never this year,
Have I seen a meal so delicious,
And never for a year,
Will I see it again.
