I must admit,
This has become,
An odd tradition,
For me to write,
A poem about,
Monkey Day.

But every year,
On this day,
I have written,
A small little,
Ditty about,
The Monkey.

Happy Monkey Day,
Whatever that means,
I hope you celebrate,
In whatever way,
You think is appropriate,
For this kind of day.
