Every so often,
We just need to pause,
Think of others,
As we think of ourselves.

Everyone is someone,
A someone with dreams,
With aspirations,
And importantly with feelings.

Today gives us chance,
To reflect on those,
Who don’t have what they need,
And get what they don’t deserve.

This year for International Human Rights day,
Spread some cheer,
And share a smile,
A little thing could make a big difference.
