Nothing beats the thrill,
Of walking under the warm draft,
Entering a highstreet shop,
From the cold step.
***
Finding things for others,
Toys, food and drink,
Knowing they will get opened,
After Christmas eve.
***
Picking stocking fillers,
And kids new toys,
Stuff to play with,
For girls and boys.
***
But after the buying,
Comes the wrapping,
The next job needing done,
on the big Christmas list.
