A Word On Hope: Poem by the Pesky Poet

Hope has become a dirty word,
That politicians have made absurd.
And in this time we find ourselves,
Hoping for simple reasonable things.
***
For politicians with honour,
That people can respect,
And do not fund,
Their self interests.
***
With the draining of the cesspit,
Let us all now spend some hope,
The new incumbents of the street,
Were the right way to vote.
