Hope has become a dirty word,
That politicians have made absurd.
And in this time we find ourselves,
Hoping for simple reasonable things.

For politicians with honour,
That people can respect,
And do not fund,
Their self interests.

With the draining of the cesspit,
Let us all now spend some hope,
The new incumbents of the street,
Were the right way to vote.
