Advent 2020: Peace

Peace is often just a concept,
Some distant idea in the mind,
No real representation in the world,
And a word that world leaders seem to dread.
***
But this year has shown us,
That Peace can be more real,
The world took a moment to breath,
And in that moment everything stood still.
***
The year started with promise,
And quickly turned to darkness,
In that darkness was a bright spark,
Showing us the feeling of unbridled peace.
***
The world has dark spots,
And life always has tough times
But in the darkest times think to peace,
That is one thing we can always aim towards.
