Boxing Day this year will be unusual,
No rush on the shops,
No queues for the deals,
Just a quiet day in,
With the ones we love.
***
But for those on their own,
Spare a thought today,
Give them a call,
Let them know you are there,
Show them you care.
***
Let’s create a new boxing day tradition,
Rather than out shopping,
Let’s stay home and veg,
why not close the shops instead,
And give a rest to those working.
Share, if you’d like. If this post stayed with you, you’re welcome to pass it on.
