There are the Christmas tunes,
There is a turkey in the oven,
There’s a smile on the faces,
A laugh coming from the table,
There is the lights on the tree,
And lets not forget the company,
This is what Christmas means to me.
***
People all around the world feel as one,
All link arms together and thank everyone,
Remember the hardships of the past,
And the hardships to come,
But not focus of the hard times,
But look forward to the fun,
This is what I dream Christmas to be.
