A Summer’s Day – Poem by the Pesky Poet

Roses and sunshine,
Smile out in the garden,
Tea and coffee,
Play out on the table,
Kids fish by the stream,
Adults talk about the day.
***
Summer has come ,
It shows in the garden,
Drinks are available,
Sat out on the table,
Fish hide in the stream,
This never ending summers day.
***
Night seems distant,
Miles from the garden,
The hot patio,
Sleeps under the table,
Cold is the water in the stream,
Warm is the wind of the day.
