Pitter Patter of little drops,
Formed way above the mountain tops,
The waning tears of a cloud's fate,
Fall peacefully at natures feat.
As the final act of the cloud above,
Leaving nothing more than drops below.
****
The petrichor around the air,
The final breath of the clouds despair.
And then at last there will be,
A clear sky above the wet trees.
Leaving space in the clear skies,
For the next clouds to come along and cry.
