At this time of year,
It is easy to forget,
Other religions exist,
Other than Christianity.
***
Today marks the beginning,
Of the Jewish celebration,
Of the rededication,
Of the Second Temple in Jerusalem.
***
Hanukkah is a special time,
For a large number of people,
A time of remembrance,
And the lighting of the Menorah.
***
In this multi cultural world,
It is worth learning other’s beliefs,
And from that vain let me say,
Hanukkah Sameach! from me.
