Christmas time can be hard,
When you remember those,
No longer around.
***
Family and friends that have left us,
To spend eternity,
Among the space dust.
***
The knowledge you can’t say,
Merry Christmas to them,
Or wish them a happy new year.
***
When you miss someone,
It can play on your mind,
Even when you are having fun.
***
I like to imagine them with me,
Watching over me in life,
Sitting with me right here.
