Christmas Countdown Poem 2022: 20. Past, Present and Yet To Come

Cast your mind to Christmas Past,
Those years left behind,
The joy the love the laughs,
Of friends and family around,
How time has changed,
Since those days of old.
***
Now think of Christmas Present,
A time we make ourselves,
With friends of old and of new,
Giddy like garden elves,
Another year of new memories,
While we remember those of past.
***
Consider Christmas yet to come,
A blank canvas in the mind,
With years of possibilities,
All future Christmas undefined,
A plethora of exciting stories,
Just waiting there to be found.
