Christmas Countdown Poem 2022: 6. Postman With Cards

I see him,
With his big red sack,
No it's not Santa,
The postie is back,
With his bag of mystery.
***
What surprises,
Are in there for me?
A card from a friend,
A parcel for me,
Or something else entirely.
***
Thank you postie,
For your part,
At this time of year,
For bringing cards,
And Joy to me.
