Parents know it too well,
The hours after the day,
A child will cry,
And a toy thrown away.

There is always one toy,
That doesn't see new year,
That a kid will break,
And claim it was just sitting there.
***
Some will try and fix it,
Others will just be replaced,
And for some,
The toy will be thrown in the waste.
***
So spare a thought for those toys,
Lost, broken or destroyed,
And let that question built,
Which toy will next be killed.
