It’s that time of year,
Where we resolve,
To write resolutions,
We pan to stick to resolutely.
***
We set our goals,
For us to achieve,
In the twelve months,
Until the next year.
***
Some people resolve,
To spend time with family,
Do something they find scary,
Or just practice something they love.
***
While others resolve,
To ditch those bad habits,
To get back in shape,
Or just to break a downward spiral.
***
Whatever you resolve,
You can achieve it,
Believe in yourself,
And you will see it through.
