A stoic symbol to the life of the forest,
Something we aim to preserve,
A way of caring for mother nature,
And the other plants and animals of this earth.
***
Now a symbol of want and greed,
Put up to shade our presents,
We use it as a giant decoration,
A multi coloured shining tree.
***
Please use this time of year,
To remember the animals and plants,
Recycle reuse and dispose of responsibly,
Just like our ancestors Christmas tree plans.
