In this time of electronic communication,
There is still one postage that gets us sending,
Cards are a perfect way to say,
Merry Christmas to you on this day.
***
Cards are sent from all corners of the world,
Where Christmas is a barbecue down by the reef,
Followed by something cooling and sweet,
Or it could mean snowmen in the garden.
***
Within that pile of letters and circulars,
It is nice to see a card shaped bill,
One that on opening will bring you a thrill,
A Merry Christmas from someone who remembers you still.
Share, if you’d like. If this post stayed with you, you’re welcome to pass it on.
